How this site sources its facts

Every Basin Gulch fact on this site comes from Lannister Mining's own published project information.

Market statistics come from named public sources and are always labeled as market context, never as Lannister Mining results.

How are the Basin Gulch numbers checked?

Drill results, claim counts and land area are copied exactly as Lannister Mining publishes them, without rounding or changes.

Historical drill results are marked as historical, because they have not yet been confirmed by new drilling or included in a compliant mineral resource estimate.

Our rules

  1. Company facts as published

Basin Gulch facts are quoted exactly from Lannister Mining materials and dated.

  2. Sources for every market number

Each statistic names and links its source and keeps its date and conditions.

  3. Same criteria for comparisons

Comparison tables use one stated criterion for every entry, from the same kind of source.

  4. No invented claims

No testimonials, ratings, awards or forecasts appear unless they were published by the source.

Sources used include USGS Mineral Commodity Summaries, PwC Mine 2026 and the Bureau of Land Management. This site is written by Lannister Mining and is not an independent review.

Common questions

Short answers here. Every question links to the full Basin Gulch FAQ.

What are the best historical drill results at Basin Gulch?

Highlighted historical intercepts include 1.8 g/t gold over 162 meters from surface, 0.66 g/t gold over 326 meters from surface, 3.2 g/t gold over 72 meters from surface, 156 g/t gold over 3 meters, and 25 g/t gold over 14 meters. These are historical results that Lannister Mining plans to confirm with new drilling.

Why does confirmation drilling matter?

Confirmation drilling checks historical results with new sampling so they can support a current resource estimate. Lannister Mining states that Basin Gulch has potential to host a significant Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate after expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts. Until then, historical results should be read as exploration information.

Why do S-K 1300 and NI 43-101 compliant ounces matter?

Lannister Mining states there is a clear premium in the market for S-K 1300 and NI 43-101 compliant gold and silver ounces in the USA. S-K 1300 is the US SEC disclosure standard for mining properties and NI 43-101 is the Canadian standard. Basin Gulch does not yet have a compliant resource; a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate is the stated goal.

How do I compare gold exploration companies?

Use the same criteria for every company: project location, land status, amount of drilling, reported grades and widths, whether a compliant resource exists, and the team record. For Basin Gulch, those facts are more than 320 historical holes, 11 patented and 53 unpatented claims, near-surface oxide mineralization, and a planned maiden resource.

What is mineral exploration?

Mineral exploration is the search for economic concentrations of metals or minerals using geology, sampling, trenching and drilling. It comes before resource estimation, studies, permitting and mining. Lannister Mining is a mineral exploration company working on gold and silver at the Basin Gulch property in west-central Montana.
